Frequently Asked Questions

Will my equations and formatting be preserved?

Yes! TypeTeX preserves all your LaTeX content exactly as-is. If you choose to convert to Typst, our converter handles complex math, tables, figures, and bibliographies.

What about my images and bibliography?

Everything comes over—images, .bib files, style files, and all supporting documents. Nothing is left behind.

Can I still use Overleaf after migrating?

Absolutely. Migration creates a copy in TypeTeX. Your original Overleaf project is untouched.

Is there a file size limit?

ZIP uploads support files up to 100MB. Share link imports have no practical limit.

Do I need to create an account?

Yes, you'll need a free TypeTeX account to import projects. Sign up takes 30 seconds with Google or email.

Your Content, Your Control

TypeTeX only accesses projects you explicitly share via read-only links. We don't store your Overleaf credentials, and your original projects remain untouched. Migration creates a copy—you're always in control.
